The message area simply displays the status of the last click.

If you are confused about something, the first place to look is the message area. The message area is only fully functional, when you are NOT in Info Mode.

In Info Mode, the message area is light green, and the message is replaced with an audio control, where you may play the info panel text, as an audio file, narrated by Google Voice.

In normal mode, the message area contains white text, on a navy blue background, where the message displayed corresponds to the status of the last click.

Click the info icon, farthest to the right in the function area, to toggle in and out of Info Mode.

Messages are always surrounded in brackets, and in lower case.
